Circolo Filologico Milanese, Liberty Hall
The designated place for our milonga will be the Circolo Filologico Milanese founded in 1872, right in the heart of the city, just a couple of minutes walk from the main cathedral(the Duomo) and the renowned theatre La Scala. The Circolo Filologico Milanese is the oldest cultural association in Milan, whose mission has always been to promote the study of language cultures and civilizations.
We will dance on the wooden floor of the Liberty Hall (Sala Liberty), under its finely decorated glass ceiling. This year we will develop and consolidate our friendship not only on the dancefloor but also at the Happy Hour/light dinner event (a typically Milanese ‘rite’), which will take place inside the Circolo Filologico, right after the Saturday afternoon milonga.
